Holiday Traveling the Smart Way

When a family is going to spend their holidays in Canada and their accommodation is going to be their RV they also have to have a reliable vehicle to haul the travel trailer. It also means that they are going to be spending a fair amount of time in the vehicle as they travel from one destination to another. It is not recommended that passengers remain in the trailer during travel. The exception to this is when the vehicle is a motorhome. There are a few tips to help keep the vehicle doing the trailer towing organized and more pleasant to spend time in.

Maintenance Products

Most vehicles need a variety of different fluids to keep them operating safely. For example, brake fluid, windshield washer and transmission fluid. Travellers often take scenic routes during their travel and they may not have immediate access to these products. Therefore a selection of them should be carried along on the journey. They can be kept organized in they are kept in a shower caddy that has several compartments to it to hold each of the types of required liquids.

Keeping the Air Fresh

After spending several hours in the car the air can become stale. It can be a hassle having to buy air fresheners. A simple solution is to take a wood clothes peg and add a few drops of your favourite essential oil onto the wood of it then just clip it onto one of the air vents in the vehicle.

Keeping the Trash in One Place

Plastic bags used for trash end up getting kicked around, and trash cans are just too big, so what is the solution? The answer is easy. Take one of the nifty plastic cereal container holders and line in with a plastic bag. There you have your mini trash grabber.
